Travel Industry suppliers know that travel agents bring them 90% of their business. They also know that you will tend to sell or market what you are FAMILIAR with. At Atlas we make certain our Agency Owners are up to date on these fabulous opportunities.

You can become eligible for travel agent discounts with Atlas Tour And Travel. Atlas does NOT offer Travel Agent ID cards for its agents but we will help you in earning your industry recognized discounts cards as you become eligible for them.

There are two basic types of ID cards offered to travel agents. The first and most widely accepted is the IATAN CARD. The IATAN card is issued by the International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN), upon request by Atlas Tour And Travel. There are additional fees for the IATAN card that are paid directly to IATAN. The following requirements are set by IATAN in order to obtain this card:

• $5000 in commissions paid to you by Atlas Tour And Travel within a 12 consecutive month period. This income can consist of commissions, service fees and other income earned from the sale of travel.

• You must work at least 20 hours per week as an Independent Travel Agent.

The second type of ID card is the CLIA CARD. The CLIA card is issued by the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA), upon request by Atlas Tour And Travel and is valid for a calendar year. In order to obtain this card you must complete the required Cruise Line training before a card can be requested. There are additional fees for the CLIA card that are paid directly to CLIA.
